RCMP have released the name of the second individual involved in the fatal police pursuit in North Battleford on Saturday night.
Amanda Wahobin, 28, is charged with possession of property obtained by crime in relation to this incident; she also faces charges of robbery and breach of conditional sentence order that were not related to the Saturday incident.
Wahobin was arrested by RCMP following the police pursuit Saturday night, which ended with the vehicle ramming a police vehicle near 15th Avenue and 105th Street. In the aftermath that followed, a firearm was discharged by an RCMP member and the other suspect, Brydon Whitstone of Onion Lake,22, was killed. That incident is now under investigation by Regina Police Service.
Wahobin appeared in court Monday on the charges. She has been remanded in custody to 9:30 a.m., Tuesday Oct. 24, 2017 in North Battleford Provincial Court.
