North Battleford RCMP responded to approximately 33 calls for service between 6 a.m. Tuesday, June 16 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, June 17.
Tuesday
• At 6:41 a.m. there was a report that items had been stolen out of a vehicle on the 1400 block of 106 Street during the previous night.
• There was a complaint of a man rummaging through a vehicle parked on the 1000 block of 101 Street at 7:06 a.m. A suspect has been named and the investigation is ongoing.
• There was a report at 9:53 a.m. that a tire had been slashed overnight while a vehicle was parked outside a residence in a rural area of Battleford.
• A motorist reported hitting a deer at 3:30 p.m. outside of Battleford on Highway 40. The vehicle had to be towed and there were no injuries.
Wednesday
• Just after midnight someone reported that they had been rear-ended in the parking lot of a business on Railway Avenue. The incident is still being investigated.
• There was a report at 9 a.m. of a vehicle that had been stolen overnight from a residence on Red Pheasant First Nation. The vehicle was located approximately two hours later near Cando and had severe fire damage.
Also during this time period, there were two people arrested for alcohol-related offences, three disturbances reported, two traffic complaints, three false alarms and two people were reported missing who have been located.
