Several vehicles rifled through overnight

Battlefords RCMP responded to less than 30 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19. They also responded to three alarms and three false/nuisance 911 calls were fielded. Tuesday 6:57 a.m.

Battlefords RCMP responded to less than 30 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19.

They also responded to three alarms and three false/nuisance 911 calls were fielded.

Tuesday

6:57 a.m. - Report of a youth on a court ordered curfew having been in violation of same. Subject arrested before 7 p.m. and returned to Youth Center.

7:34 a.m. - Two-vehicle collision on 100th Street near Territorial Drive intersection. Traffic was blocked/restricted briefly. No injuries, vehicles were towed from scene.

8:17 a.m. - Truck reported stolen from 700 block of 110th Street sometime overnight. Was recovered on the Little Pine First Nation by Cut Knife RCMP later in the morning. Investigation ongoing.

8:46 a.m. - Vehicle/deer collision on Territorial East reported.

9:41 a.m. - Break and enter to a garage on 1600 block of 106th Street and mischief to a vehicle parked inside.

10:14 a.m. - Vehicle parked on 1400 block of 108th Street gone through overnight, some personal items taken.

2:47 p.m. - Vehicle parked on 900 block of 111th Street gone through overnight. Nothing taken, papers scattered about.

4:20 p.m. - Reported assault from previous evening. Victim suffering from some minor abrasions. Investigation ongoing.

4:45 p.m. - Theft of a red 10-speed bike from apartment building on 1400 block of 102nd Street.

5:15 p.m. - Two-vehicle collision on Pioneer Avenue reported. No injuries.

8:45 p.m. - Report of a 12-year-old youth upset and claiming to have lost his two younger sisters on 101st Street. Youth no longer in area. Extensive patrols made of area, all negative. No calls received on missing persons.
