There's a severe thunderstorm warning for the RMs of Humboldt, LeRoy, Prairie Rose, Usborne, Wolverine and Three Lakes.
As of 3:15 p.m. on June 14, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain.
This severe thunderstorm is currently located from Lanigan to Humboldt and is tracking to the north at 50 km/h.
Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Large hail can damage property and cause injury. Strong wind gusts can toss loose objects, damage weak buildings, break branches off trees and overturn large vehicles.
Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
UPDATE: As of 4:05 p.m. the thunderstorm warning has been downgraded to a watch. The storm is heading north.
