The man accused of two alleged incidents involving women on North Battleford's walking trail remains remanded in custody pending a bail hearing.

Chad Weasel, 26, appeared in provincial court Tuesday morning before Judge Dan O'Hanlon.

A show-cause hearing had been set for that day, but his matters were adjourned to Thursday morning, Oct. 3, pending the preparation of a bail verification and supervision report. Weasel remains remanded in custody until then. The Crown is proceeding by indictment in the case.

Weasel faces a charge of sexual assault and two charges of breaching an undertaking. The incidents are said to have happened Saturday, Sept. 28 in the evening hours along Territorial Drive, with the first incident near Clements Drive around 7 p.m. and the second near St. Laurent Drive around 9:30 p.m.
