Between 6 a.m. Saturday, April 5 and 6 a.m. Monday, April 7, Battlefords RCMP responded to more than 60 calls for service.
Among those calls were four false/nuisance 911 calls, three noise complaints and three false alarms.
Saturday
9:13 a.m. - Report of a fraudulent sale of a vehicle/fraudulent registration of a vehicle. Suspect has been identified and charges are pending.
9:56 a.m. - Intoxicated man banging on windows on 105th Street. 30-year-old man arrested on scene and held in custody until sober.
10:42 a.m. - Vehicle parked on 1000 block of 102nd Street entered overnight. Nothing missing.
2:23 p.m. - PS3 reported stolen. Property has since been recovered, charges still pending.
3:38 p.m. - Report of several intoxicated persons on 101st Street. 53-year-old woman was taken into custody and turned over to ambulance due to high levels of intoxication. Two other subjects located and warned to leave area.
4:35 p.m. - Domestic dispute involving cell phones. Both parties spoken to after arguing on 100th Street about ownership of two cell phones.
4:42 p.m. - Misuse of identification at a licensed premise. Suspect identified, charges are still pending.
5:25 p.m. - Theft of fuel on Heritage Way. Suspect vehicle described as a silver Subaru Uplander.
5:39 p.m. - Call to a residence on 103rd Street, reporting a young woman just opened the complainant's door, came in and sat down and now won't leave. A 25-year-old woman was arrested on scene and held in custody until sober.
7:27 p.m. - 38-year-old woman from Alberta facing charges of impaired driving and driving while over .08 after a stop on 101st Street. Two male passengers, ages 28 and 41, were also taken into custody due to their levels of intoxication and held in custody until sober. The driver has since been released to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court April 28.The 28-year-old is also facing charges of obstruction for providing a false name. He was found to have numerous outstanding matters and was remanded into custody to appear in court Monday.
9:46 p.m. - Call to a disturbance on Territorial Drive north. Found to be an argument between acquaintances, most of whom left prior to police arrival. Still under investigation.
10:05 p.m. - 53-year-old woman arrested for being intoxicated in public on 107th Street.
10:52 p.m. - On the evening of Saturday, April 5, shortly before 11 p.m., North Battleford RCMP responded to two calls of gunshots being fired, one in the area of 93rd Street and the second in the area of 108th Street. Members were able to locate the suspect vehicle involved and arrested three persons without incident. Firearms and other weapons were recovered by members at the time of the arrests. The investigation is ongoing. To date there does not appear to have been any victim(s) to the shootings. The three arrested males are 19, 19 and 15 years of age. Subsequent investigation has resulted in the arrest Sunday of a fourth man, 22 years of age. The 15-year-old and one of the 19-year-olds have since been released from custody on numerous weapons charges. A 19-year-old man and the 22-year-old man remain in custody and will appear in North Battleford Provincial Court Monday.
Sunday
12:07 a.m. - Theft of two iPhones from Mackenzie King Crescent. Suspect known to complainant.
12:48 a.m. - Report of intoxicated person walking down the middle of the street on 101st Street. 27-year-old woman located and arrested, held in custody until sober.
2:56 a.m. - Report of another intoxicated person running around in traffic on Highway 16 east. 34-year-old woman arrested and held in custody until sober.
12:22 p.m. - 13-year-old reported missing. Located a short time later.
1:37 p.m. - Report of a man sleeping in an alley off 11th Avenue. 41-year-old man located and taken into custody for public intoxication and held until sober.
4:30 p.m. - Vehicle tires slashed while parked on 1300 block of 96th Street sometime during the night.
4:30 p.m. - Report of a vehicle damaged while parked on 1300 block of 100th Street over night.
4:48 p.m. - Report of intoxicated person bothering people on 102nd Street. 53-year-old woman arrested for public intoxication and another man warned to leave area.
7:41 p.m. - Unoccupied home damaged on Trudeau Street.
8:25 p.m. - 70-year-old man arrested after complaint of intoxicated person causing a disturbance on 100th Street.
9:41 p.m. - 911 call to a residence on St Laurent Drive of four unknown males banging on the door. Subject left without gaining entry. Remains under investigation.
Monday
12:37 a.m. - Two-vehicle collision between a police vehicle and a car on 13th Avenue. Police vehicle was travelling west on 13th Avenue when a vehicle going north on 105th failed to yield and collided with the police vehicle. No injuries. Charges of operating an unregistered vehicle pending for operator of the vehicle.
