The show cause hearing for a man charged with several weapons counts has been pushed back to next week.
Arlo McDermott's hearing in provincial court has been adjourned to April 8 at 11 a.m., by video conference.
McDermott was charged in connection with an early morning incident on March 17 in North Battleford in which it is alleged he threatened a number of individuals at a residence. RCMP members arrested McDermott and seized several weapons.
He faces several charges including using a firearm while attempting assault and uttering threats, pointing a firearm, carrying a weapon for a purpose dangerous to public peace, two counts of uttering threats, unauthorized possession of a firearm, assault and mischief.
McDermott has been in custody since being arrested and was vocal in protesting his innocence during recent court appearances. His latest appearance was by closed-circuit video Tuesday morning from custody in Saskatoon, and he remains in remand there pending next week's appearance.
