Update (10:31 a.m.) The semi truck and debris have now been removed from the roadway. Both lanes of traffic on Hwy. 4 are now opened. Police advise to use caution and slow down while going through the area as many sheets of plywood are in the ditches along the highway. The cleanup will take an undetermined amount of time to complete.

Original story: At approximately 5:30 a.m. Oct. 2, Turtleford RCMP were dispatched to a single-vehicle rollover on Hwy. 4, 10 km south of Glaslyn.

A semi truck hauling plywood was southbound on Hwy. 4, lost control and rolled over. The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to Battleford Union Hospital for further treatment.

Hwy. 4 is blocked in both directions and is expected to be re-opened within the hour. Police suggest motorists bypass this area until the highway is opened. Tow trucks are on scene and clearing the roadway at this time.

The cause of the rollover is still under investigation.
