The North Battleford Fire Department responded to two motor vehicle crashes this week, one on Sunday and another on Tuesday.
Sunday, one vehicle and four personnel responded at 1:34 p.m. to a single vehicle rollover about five miles east of the city on Highway 16. No extrication was required, however, five occupants were transported to hospital by ambulance with undetermined injuries. The van sustained extensive damage.
Tuesday, one vehicle and three personnel were on the scene of a two-vehicle crash at 18th Avenue and 97th Street where they and WPD Ambulance undertook a spinal immobilization of one patient, who was then transported to hospital.
