Speeding vehicle located and seized

Five reports of erratic driving were among the approximately 25 calls for service/occurrences dealt with by Battlefords RCMP between 6 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26.

Five reports of erratic driving were among the approximately 25 calls for service/occurrences dealt with by Battlefords RCMP between 6 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26.

Members also responded to five alarm calls, all false, and one nuisance/false 911 call was fielded.

Tuesday

9:05 a.m. - Unwanted guest at a residence on Diefenbaker Drive, threw an egg sandwich at complainant. Man removed from home by members.

10:52 a.m. - Window to a residence on Centennial Crescent damaged sometime overnight. No suspects.

11:09 a.m. - 911 call to a residence on 98th Street reporting an assault. Investigation completed, no assault found to have occurred. Parties separated to keep the peace.

10:44 p.m. - Complaint of vehicle driving dangerously at high rate of speed on bridges heading into city. Vehicle located, seized and towed by responding members.

11:56 p.m. - Report of a man causing a disturbance at a home on 103rd Street, throwing items around home. Subject left when police called, but came back later and was arrested andlodged for sobering.

Wednesday

3:21 a.m. - Report of people spraying a fire extinguisher into vehicles. Suspects not located. Still under investigation.

4:24 a.m. - Multiple calls of a domestic assault in progress on Winder Crescent, no answer at door, entry gained by police and a man and woman arrested and lodged for sobering. Still under investigation but charges pending.

5:46 a.m. - Complaint of intoxicated and unwanted woman at residence on 108th Street. Same arrested and lodged for sobering.
