Stabbing victim unco-operative

A 40-year-old man, who walked into Battlefords Union Hospital around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday suffering from stab wounds, is refusing to co-operate with a police investigation, according to Battlefords RCMP.

A 40-year-old man, who walked into Battlefords Union Hospital around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday suffering from stab wounds, is refusing to co-operate with a police investigation, according to Battlefords RCMP.


According to RCMP, the victim suffered at least one stab wound to the torso. He was treated at BUH and is expected to make a full recovery.


Police say subsequent reports revealed the man was involved in an incident in the 1000 block of 108th Street.


Preliminary investigation leads members to believe the victim and the suspect are likely know each other, RCMP say.
