STARS landing

The STARS helicopter made another landing in Humboldt last week. The air ambulance service was dispatched for a medical emergency in Humboldt at 9:40 a.m.

The STARS helicopter touched down by the Humboldt District Hospital in a flurry of snow on December 13, guided to the ground by firefighter Bernie Crockett (right) of the Humboldt Fire Department.


The STARS helicopter made another landing in Humboldt last week. The air ambulance service was dispatched for a medical emergency in Humboldt at 9:40 a.m. on December 13 and members of the Humboldt Fire Department were on hand to help them land when the helicopter arrived at the Humboldt District Hospital's landing area at approximately 10:30 a.m. The crew received the patient and flew back to Saskatoon, taking off at approximately 10:45 a.m. This mission marks the third time the Saskatoon-based STARS helicopter has transported a patient from Humboldt
