North Battleford RCMP responded to 18 calls for service between 6 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3 and 6 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4. Over the noted time period, RCMP made two arrests relating to alcohol offences.

North Battleford RCMP responded to 18 calls for service between 6 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3 and 6 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4.

Over the noted time period, RCMP made two arrests relating to alcohol offences. Other investigations included one alarm, two traffic complaints, two minor disturbances and one minor collision.

Police are seeking information into the following incidents:

Wednesday

• 44-year-old man arrested and now facing one count of failing to comply with probation order, located intoxicated and sleeping off 101st Street shortly before 4 p.m. Held in custody and to appear North Battleford Provincial Court Thursday.

• Report of a theft of shoes from a residence on 1000 block of 109th at 7:39 p.m. Shoes recovered and returned, suspect has been identified, but has not yet been located.

• Call of a possible assault in progress on Railway Avenue East shortly after 11 p.m. A 31-year-old male from Saskatoon was arrested on scene for assault after a brief investigation into the matter. Accused has since been released from custody and is scheduled to make his first appearance in provincial court Dec. 18. 

Thursday

• There was a report of a man and woman arguing or fighting in a parking lot on Railway Avenue East shortly before 1 a.m. Patrols for the subjects were negative and they have yet to be identified.
