Stolen truck had keys in ignition

The Battlefords RCMP responded to 52 calls for service between 6 a.m. Sunday March 29 and 6 a.m. Monday, March 30.

Sunday

• Report of vehicle being rummaged through while parked in the 700 block of 109th Street. Spare change taken from within.

• Report of theft of a vehicle from an address in the 800 block of 107th Street. The keys had been left in the ignition. The truck is described as a black 1995 Ford F150 Saskatchewan licence 631 JRR.

Sunday

• Report of kids in the parking lot of a hotel in the 900 block of 101st Street attempting to steal from vehicles. The complainant drove in and the kids fled leaving behind some property.

Other incidents included two 911 Act calls, one Child Welfare Act investigation, one false alarm call, three Mental Health Act investigations, one missing person report, seven traffic related occurrences and four disturbing the peace or municipal bylaw related occurrences.
