Security camera footage is being distributed by Maidstone RCMP as they investigate the theft of a quad and dirt bike from a storage facility on Highway 17 north of Lloydminster, Sask.
Police say two men entered the Storage 4U compound at 8:41 a.m. Friday, April 25 using a key access code. Once in the compound the perpetrators broke into one of the units and loaded a 2008 green Kawasaki KFX-450 quad with an approximate value $6,500 and a2007 KTM 525 dirt bike, valued at $6,000 into a U-Haul trailer pulled by a newer model white Dodge Ram quad cab truck.
Police say the pair exited the compound 10 minutes later, turning north on a side road adjacent to Highway 17.
One man is described as dark skinned, approximately 5'8" to 5'10", weighing about 180 to 200 lbs, wearing a red hoody, dark pants and white runners. The other is described as Caucasian, approximately 5"8" to 5"10", weighing about 200 lbs, wearing a dark hat/toque, brown/black plaid jacket, dark pants and work boots
