Habitat for Humanity is working steadily toward the goal of building a home for two families in our area.
They need your help. They have received generous donations of windows, doors and light fixtures. They need a facility and/or storage place to store these donations.
Habitat for Humanity of the Battlefords is looking for an individual, group or business to come forward if they can help by providing storage space for donated material for this project.
Habitat for Humanity of the Batttlefords thank Carla and Garry Pattinson for donating pumpkins that were sold as a fundraiser recently.
Please watch for more information in December about a public meeting that will be held in January. At this meeting, there will be opportunity for families to apply for this project. All interested families must come to this public meeting and fill out an application form.
The board acknowledges Glenn and Caren Hornick for the donation of the land at 1211-106th St. A duplex has been chosen for the architectural design for this property.
