A structure fire had North Battleford Fire Department, RCMP, WPD Ambulance, SaskPower and SaskEnergy on site Saturday evening.
The fire is under investigation and one person was transported to hospital, says NBFD in a news release.
RCMP say the fire appears to have been deliberately set and charges are currently pending against a adult female suspect.
The alarm came in to the NBFD at 6:42 p.m. and two pumpers and 10 personnel responded to the fire at 931-106th Street. Thick, dark smoke was coming out of the front of the house when they arrived, so they made entry from the rear and did a rapid search for victims, finding none, and extinguishing the fire.
Damage is estimated at $60,000.
