Tender put out for Melfort heliport

MELFORT — The City of Melfort has put out a tender for the new heliport at the Melfort Hospital. Rick Lang, Melfort’s mayor, said through fundraising and donations in-kind, they have reached approximately $520,000 for the new heliport.

MELFORT — The City of Melfort has put out a tender for the new heliport at the Melfort Hospital.

Rick Lang, Melfort’s mayor, said through fundraising and donations in-kind, they have reached approximately $520,000 for the new heliport. The deadline for tenders being July 7.

With COVID-19, Lang said they have seen other capital project tenders coming in under budget since companies are being more competitive with their pricing in order to get more work during these slower times.
