North Battleford RCMP report approximately 30 calls for service between 6 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9 and 6 a.m. Friday, Oct. 10, including threefalse alarms,three false/nuisance 911 calls,two child welfare/family relations occurrences,five traffic investigations and two disturb the peace/municipal bylaw complaints.
Thursday
12:59 p.m. - 40-year-old male arrested for causing a disturbance. Report of a very intoxicated male staggering around 101st Street and giving a passer by the finger. Held in custody until sober.
1:31 p.m. - Call to assist with scene management at a file on 101st Street. Investigation is ongoing but the fire is not believed to be suspicious.
3:55 p.m. - Theft of gasoline from a business on Highway 16 East. Suspect vehicle described as a Red Chevrolet extended cab last seen driving over bridges towards Lloydminster.
6:14 p.m. - Theft of a cell phone from the afternoon on 110th Street.
6:15 p.m. - Complaint of intoxicated male having fallen on 101st Street. Subject located and taken to hospital by ambulance and treated for non-serious injuries.
6:23 p.m. - Shoplifting complaint from a business on Railway Avenue East. Two females identified suspects and surveillance footage pending. Investigation ongoing.
7:45 p.m. - Call of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance at a residence on 106th Street. 37-year-old male located and arrested, facing multiple counts of breach of probation. Held in custody and to make a coury appearance on Friday.
11:00 p.m. - Report of harassing text messages and phone calls. This investigation is ongoing.
11:27 p.m. - Complaint of theft from vehicles parked on 15th Avenue. Numerous items taken and some damage to one of the vehicles. This is suspected to have occurred sometime last weekend but was reported this date.
Friday
12:17 a.m. - Complaint of an unwanted person. An intoxicated female was trying to get into the complainant's house and was not welcome. Members attended and located the intoxicated female who was not from the city and looking for a family members address. Members located family and the female was left in their care.
1:10 a.m. - Complaint of a possible impaired driver. The vehicle was observed weaving on the road and hit a boulevard by the theatre.
2:22 a.m. - During a traffic stop a male passenger was found to be in breach of a court order by being heavily intoxicated. The male was arrested and held until sober, to be released for court once sober.
5:00 a.m. - Noise complaint received on Panton Avenue. Members attended and advised the homeowner to quiet down.
