Three people arrested after a woman was kidnapped and forcibly confined remain in custody.
Sandra Campbell, 36, Christopher Vanadale, 36, and Harold Rabbitskin, 32, all from Big River First Nation, had appearances in Prince Albert Provincial Court July 13.
The three were arrested July 8 after Big River RCMP received a firearms complaint at a residence on Big River First Nation.
According to police, a vehicle drove up to a residence, smashed a window and shot into the home and at a vehicle on the property.
They fled the area and police found the vehicle at another property on Big River First Nation. Police say a woman was assaulted and forcibly confined at the second residence.
Police obtained a search warrant and seized three firearms, several imitation firearms and ammunition.
Campbell was charged with kidnapping, uttering threats, pointing a firearm, two counts of discharging a firearm with intent to endanger life, three counts of assault with a weapon, assault, two counts of mischief, possession of a firearm in a vehicle, careless use of a firearm, three counts of careless storage of a firearm, and four counts of possession of a restricted firearm.
Vandale was charged forcible confinement, two counts of unsafe storage of a firearm, two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm, and failing to comply with a release order.
Rabbitskin is charged with resisting a peace officer, two counts of unsafe storage of a firearm, and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
Campbell and Rabbitskin appear again in court on July 15 and Vandale appears July 16.
