Maurice Taylor, whose appointment as general manager of Beeland Co-operative Association Limited was announced last week by the association's president, Bill Yelland.
Mr. Taylor has been in the co-operative movement for 13 years and for the past three years has been a district representative for Federated Co-operatives Limited working in Saskatoon. Prior to that he resided at Carrot River, Eston and Demaines.
Mr. Taylor is married and the father of four sons and one daughter. He succeeds Nap Boutin who was recently transferred to Humboldt as general manager of the co-op there.
Editor’s Note: Taylor would later become mayor of Tisdale. He still lives in town and can often be found playing the piano at various events around Tisdale. The Maurice Taylor Performing Arts Theatre in the RECplex is named after him.
