TISDALE — Tisdale Middle & Secondary School (TMSS) is receiving renovations for a three decade old section of the roof.
Wanda McLeod, superintendent of business administration for the NESD, said the work is scheduled to be completed mid-June – but there may be delays due to the pandemic.
“We’ve asked all our contractors to provide us with any COVID-19 procedures they have in place to protect their employees and… any of our staff who might be around the building,” McLeod said.
In addition to roof repairs, all schools in the division are receiving LED light replacements for their old lightbulbs. This work is expected to be completed on Aug. 31.
McLeod said while there may be delays present with TMSS roof repairs, the LED work is expected to remain on schedule.
