Tisdale RCMP respond to complaint of man who threatened to shoot family members

TISDALE — Tisdale RCMP said they “responded to a complaint of a subject who was on his way to shoot his family members at a residence in the Tisdale Detachment area.”

They responded on June 24 at around 1 p.m.

Police said RCMP officers from Tisdale, Hudson Bay, Melfort, and Prince Albert RCMP Police Dog Services converged on the area.

The family members were secured by police, and the suspect was quickly located and arrested without any further incident, Tisdale RCMP said.

A 37 year old man has been charged with uttering threats, assault with a weapon, unauthorized possession of a firearm, dangerous driving and unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon.
