Dear Readers,
This spring is bringing changes at the Tisdale Recorder and the Parkland Review. Effective with our first publication in April, the two newspapers will be merged into one. Called The Recorder, it will be published Thursdays starting April 5.
This change will allow us to strengthen our business in the face of industry challenges, but, more importantly, we believe it will result in a stronger publication that will have more value to our readers and advertisers.
The Recorder will remain the newspaper of record for the Town of Tisdale, while at the same time continuing to serve communities as far as Choiceland in the north, Watson in the south, Birch Hills in the west and Hudson Bay in the east.
Readers of The Recorder will now receive all the area news of the week, all in one place, delivered to most households and local pick-up boxes on Thursdays.
The Recorder’s website address will change effective April 1 to tisdalerecorder.ca. However, the current address, parklandreview.ca, will still be usable to access the site.
Our website allows us to provide news real-time to our readers, and it is an area that we are continuing to grow. As we move further into the digital space, we will be working to bring you new content, including video, podcasts, advertising opportunities and more. You will also find breaking news on our website and Facebook page as soon as it is available. Watch www.tisdalerecorder.ca and our Facebook page, www.facebook.com\TisdaleRecorder for updates.
We also offer a digital edition of the newspaper, available by subscription, that lets you view the newspaper pages on your computer or mobile device.
