The Tisdale Trojans’ penalty kill efforts weren’t enough to stop the Swift Current Legionnaires from scoring three power play goals, contributing to a loss of 5-0.
Tanner Martin, the Trojan’s goalie, was able to stop 34 shots. His team made 38 shots against the Legionnaires.
In the first period, Swift Current’s Rin Beny scored the only goal of the period.
Swift Current’s Rhett Stevenson scored the first goal of the second period, followed up by power play goals from Jerzy Orchard and Owen Ozar.
