Battlefords RCMP responded to 65 calls for service between 6 a.m. Aug. 19 and 6 a.m. Aug. 20

Aug. 19

7:35 a.m. - Complaint of mischief. Someone damaged a vehicle on the 1100 block of 104th Street.

9:05 a.m. - Complaint of a mischief to vehicle on Industrial Avenue where tires and rims were stolen.

11:18 a.m. - Complaint of a theft of truck. A grey Ford Supercrew truck stolen from Steele Court.

1:08 p.m. - Complaint of a disturbance at the Big Way in Cochin. Police attended, and the matter was resolved without issue.

14:00 p.m. - Complaint of a threat to another individual made outside of a school in North Battleford. Matter is still being investigated.

2:00 p.m. - Complaint of a break-in to a shed on Railway Avenue. Matter is still under investigation.

4:25 p.m. - Complaint of a male walking around a yard in Meota claiming to be part of Q.V. Construction.

4:47 p.m. - Complaint of a toddler located in a vehicle unsupervised parked outside a North Battleford business. Police attended, and the toddler was in good health. Matter was resolved without issue.

6:18 p.m. - Community Safety Officers requesting assistance with a group of youths in possession of a controlled substance. Matter is still under investigation.

6:53 p.m. - Complaint of an assault outside the liquor store where a male was assaulted by several females.

19:27 p.m. - Complaint of a disturbance at a residence on 106th, where a youth assaulted several people and proceeded to resist arrest. Matter is still currently under investigation.

Aug. 20

4:38 a.m. - Complaint of a female being beaten along 110th Street. Matter is still being investigated.  

5:01 a.m. - Complaint of a large party on the Red Pheasant First Nation. Police attended, matter resolved without issue.

In the Battlefords, there were also: 10 disturbance calls; five motor vehicle collisions; seven provincial liquor offences and three calls for service to the fair grounds.
