The snow may still be falling but the season is changing and with spring comes the Maidstone Chamber of Commerce's 27th Annual Trade Fair.

The show will run Saturday April 2 from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Sunday April 3 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Maidstone Arena. Admission will be $3 per day or $5 for a weekend pass with weekend pass holders eligible for a special draw for a print by Neilburg artist and show exhibitor Joan Herbert.

The major door prize for the event will be a 32-inch Panasonic LCD television set.

Exhibitors will be on hand from Saskatoon, Wainwright, Neilburg, Lloydminster, the Battlefords and Maidstone. There will be handmade wooden items, health and beauty items, financial planning information, yard and garden displays and sports and leisure booths included in the show. Once again there will be the opportunity to train and test for a boat operator's license on site during the weekend.

There will be a pancake breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m. Sunday and a concession available throughout the show. The Maidstone and District Historical Society will be holding their silent auction on the upper level with a large variety of items up for bid.

Entertainment will run both days on the stage beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday. The trade fair is offering something for every age and taste and everyone is invited to attend.
