North Battleford Fire Department came to the rescue of a four-year-old boy Monday.
The child's mother summoned firefighters when his leg became caught between the pedal and frame of a bicycle.
According to a NBFD press release, the two personnel who responded removed the back tire from the bicycle and the frame flexed enough to free his leg. The firefighters, who were on the scene for about 10 minutes, also reinstalled the tire.
