A trial date is set for one of four people accused in a North Battleford shooting spree April 5.
The trial of Ryan Bear, one of those accused in the case, has been scheduled for October 6, 8 and 9 in North Battleford Provincial Court.
Lawyers for the Crown and defence set the trial dates in court Monday. Bear's attendance in court was not required.
In addition, a show-cause hearing to determine whether Bear can be released is scheduled for April 30.
Until then, Bear remains in custody. An extensive no-contact order was continued as well.
Bear faces charges of possessing a weapon for a purpose dangerous to the public peace, careless use of a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose (a sawed off rifle), possession of a prohibited weapon, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle and marijuana possession.
The charges stem from alleged shooting incidents on the night of April 5 on 93rd Street and 108th Street in North Battleford.
Another accused in the case, Troy Delorme, faces similar charges and is due back in court April 16 for a show-cause hearing. Two other individuals also face charges in the case.
