TURTLEFORD — Tammy Delorme was almost done scratching some of her lottery tickets when she scratched a Set For Life ticket and won $15,000.
“I was scratching some tickets and wasn’t winning anything,” she said. “This was the last one that I scratched.”
“I didn’t believe what I was seeing at first,” she continued. “I called for my husband to come and check the ticket and make sure that I was seeing it right. He looked at it and said, ‘Yeah! You just won $15,000!’”
Delorme and her husband have started to think about what they want to do with the winnings, and have decided on one thing for sure.
“We’re going to put most of the money away to go on a holiday,” she said. “We’ve wanted to go to Las Vegas for a while, so we’ll put the money away and go when the dollar gets better.”
