Two men have been arrested and face assault with a weapon and forcible confinement charges.
The men are also charged with uttering threats and with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose in connection to an incident Wednesday on 99th Street.
The two, one 23 years old from Turtleford and the other 31 years old from North Battleford, are alleged to have entered a residence to collect money owed. The victim was able to leave the residence and called police from a nearby business without sustaining any injuries.
Police say the two subjects were gone from the residence when police arrived, but were located a short time later at another residence in the city.
The two remain in custody and were scheduled to appear in North Battleford provincial court Thursday morning.
