A head on crash near Glaslyn Monday morning has sent two men to Battlefords Union Hospital with what Turtleford RCMP are describing as serious injuries.

The crash occurred at about 7:30 a.m., and while driving conditions were poor with blowing snow reducing visibility, police say they don't believe the conditions were a factor in the crash.

According to police, a northbound vehicle was passing another vehicle about four kilometers south of the village and collided with a southbound car.

The drivers were both the lone occupants of their vehicles.

This collision remains under investigation by the RCMP Turtleford Detachment. Also responding to the crash were Glaslyn Fire and Rescue and WPD Ambulance.
