North Battleford RCMP responded to 43 calls for service between 6 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8 and 6 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10.
Those incidents included several calls in relation to alcohol offences in the downtown area of 101st Street. Other investigations included one false or nuisance 911 call, two Child Welfare Acts, five false alarms and three traffic related occurrences.
RCMP are seeking information about the following incidents:
Saturday
During a traffic stop initiated on Bennett Crescent a man was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle and subsequent to investigation was charged with impaired driving over .80.
Complaint of a party at an address on 109th Street. Complainant wished to have the intoxicated people removed. A 23-year-old male who was court ordered to reside at the address, cut off his electronic monitoring device and fled from the address before police arrived. Charges are in the process of being laid and a subsequent media release to follow.
Report of two intoxicated men fighting at an address on 111th Street. Members attended to and located the two men, both were arrested and taken to hospital for treatment of their injuries. One man was on a court order to abstain from alcohol and will face a charge in relation to this breach. The fight was consensual.
Sunday
Report of an intoxicated man at an address on 101st Street. The man was upset and smashed two windows while inside the address and then fled before police arrived. Investigation is continuing.
Complaint of a stolen vehicle from an address on Gregory Drive. The doors were left unlocked and the keys left inside. The vehicle is described as a 2006 black four-door Chevrolet Malibu.
Property damage to a vehicle parked on 97th Street. The damage occurred sometime over the weekend, no suspects at this time.
Cause disturbance at a licensed premise. A man who was asked to leave the bar was then bothering patrons in the lobby. Members attended but the man had left. He was later located and arrested and held until sober.
Monday
Complaint of a minor motor vehicle collision in the parking lot of a licenced premise. The driver of the suspect vehicle fled but was later located and arrested. The novice driver was issued tickets for failing to remain at the scene of an accident and driving contrary to restriction on license as well as a 60-day suspension for alcohol consumption.
