Vehicles still being targeted

Battlefords RCMP responded to more than 20 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Tuesday, March 19 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, including three false alarms. Two false/nuisance 911 calls were also fielded. Tuesday 7:33 a.m.

Battlefords RCMP responded to more than 20 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Tuesday, March 19 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, including three false alarms.

Two false/nuisance 911 calls were also fielded.

Tuesday

7:33 a.m. - Report of a hit and run to a vehicle parked on the 1500 block of 104th Street sometime overnight.

7:49 a.m. - Vehicle parked on 1300 block of 107th Street overnight had side window broken out.

7:54 a.m. - GMC Sierra reported stolen from 104th Street. Vehicle was recovered by members shortly after 6 p.m. and seized for forensic examination. Investigation ongoing.

8:20 a.m. - Mischief to a vehicle window on 800 block of 100th Street and a Ford F150 at same address reported stolen. Vehicle recovered shortly after 6 p.m. and seized for forensic examination.

10:46 a.m. - Hit and run at Sobeys parking lot. Suspect vehicle described as a black Jeep Cherokee.

2:32 p.m. - Theft of gasoline from a business on 100th Street. Suspect vehicle described as a grey, four-door, smaller car.

6:40 p.m. - 21-year-old man arrested on 8th Avenue after report of intoxicated person yelling at cars.

7:29 p.m. - Call of an assault at a residence on 103rd Street. 36-year-old man was arrested on scene without incident. Attending members received no co-operation from the complainant once on scene. Both subjects knew each other and alcohol was a factor in the incident.

8:44 p.m. - Report of unwanted guests at a residence on 108th Street, then advised everyone left when police called.

11:52 p.m. - Noise complaint on 105th Street, suspect located, warned and advised to leave area.

Wednesday

12:20 a.m. - 911 call of a domestic dispute on 103rd Street. A 34-year-old woman was arrested and has been charged with one count of assault. She has since been released from custody and will make her first appearance in North Battleford Provincial Court Thursday.
