The Prince Albert Parkland Health Region is in need of caring, compassionate and committed volunteers to fill the following service positions:
“On Call” Volunteers – Evergreen Health Centre (Leoville): Extra volunteers are often needed for the long-term care residents on an “on-call” basis, to assist with outings, parties, social gatherings, shopping trips and taking residents to appointments.
Special Groups or Individuals – Hafford Special Care Centre: These volunteers entertain, give presentations, prepare birthday parties, provide cakes or sing for the patients and residents.
Entertainment – Spiritwood and District Health Complex: Volunteers escort residents to a specific area for entertainment, parties and sing-a-longs. Assist with snacks and lunches. Shifts: 2:30 to 4 p.m. Fridays.
