Rocky Fiddler and Lana Aubichon were arrested in a high risk takedown in October 2020

MEADOW LAKE – A warrant has been issued for a man facing forcible confinement, firearms and assault charges after he failed to appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court Monday.

Rocky Fiddler, 36, was expected to enter a plea on how he wants to be tried. Fiddler, along with Lana Aubichon, 36, were arrested in a high-risk takedown by the RCMP Emergency Response Team (ERT) Oct. 23, 2020.

According to police, they received a call at about 7:15 p.m. on Oct. 22, 2020, that a man was assaulted and robbed at a residence in Meadow Lake. He received serious, but non life-threatening injuries.

Meadow Lake identified Fiddler and Aubichon as the suspects and believed they were armed with a firearm so the ERT was called in to to assist with a high-risk search warrant at a residence on the 400 block of 7 Street West.

During their search police found ammunition, a quantity of controlled substances and a number of items allegedly linking Fiddler and Aubichon to the armed robbery and assault.  Fiddler and Aubichon were charged with robbery with a firearm, assault causing bodily harm, forcible confinement, and uttering threats. Aubichon also had outstanding warrants at the time.

Aubichon is expected to appear in court again on Nov. 15 to elect how she wants to be tried.

The charges against Fiddler and Aubichon haven’t been proven in court.
