As of Friday, Sept. 2, all watering restrictions in the city of North Battleford have been lifted.

The City of North Battleford confirmed the good news Friday in a news release. This news follows on the heels of the earlier lifting of all water restrictions for businesses.

Residents can start watering again, but they are being asked to use water in moderation and to adhere to the odd-even watering schedule until the end of the month.

Residents and businesses with numbers ending in an even number may water their yards on even-numbered days and those with odd numbers may water on odd-numbered days.

The City also issued a thank you to residents and businesses “for conserving water for almost 1.5 months. Your contribution and co-operation was crucial to the success in ensuring there was enough water during this trying time.”
