EAST CENTRAL — Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for the Humboldt, Wynyard, Wadena, Lanigan and Foam Lake area.
The weather service said strong southeasterly winds of 70 km/h gusting to 90 km/h will develop in southern Saskatchewan this afternoon, June 13. These winds will gradually subside this evening.
Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur, said Environment Canada. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage.
