Maidstone RCMP are requesting the public's help with respect to a theft of copper wire and electronics.

Between March 28 and 30, according to Maidstone RCMP, perpetrators entered a storage facility for drilling rigs and are alleged to have stolen large quantities of copper wire, electronics, and tools.

RCMP say this might have happened over a number of days with the help of several individuals.

Police are asking the public to report any information about persons storing large quantities of copper. As well, the RCMP is reminding the public that criminal activity is increasing with the warmer weather, and that large valuable items should be kept in secure and monitored locations.

Those with information about this or any other crime are urged to contact Lloydminster Rural or Maidstone RCMP at 310-RCMP (7267) or 306-893-4800, Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), through SaskTel Mobility Network at *8477, or submit a tip online at www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
