The North Battleford RCMP detachment received more than 60 calls for service between 6 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4 and 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 6.
The calls over the weekend included seven child welfare/family relations investigations, nine traffic investigations, 11 municipal bylaw/disturbance complaints, one false/nuisance 911 call and one false alarm.
Saturday
11:58 a.m. - Report of a stolen vehicle from the 1100 block of 100th Street. Vehicle was located abandoned the following day by members. A suspect has been identified and investigation is still ongoing.
12:57 p.m. - 40-year-old man arrested for mischief at a residence on 108th Street after complaint of intoxicated person no longer wanted who was refusing to leave.
3:40 p.m. - Suspicious person witnessed peeking around someone's home on 105th Street. No damage to property or items missing. No persons found near location matching description.
5:04 p.m. - Members called to a licensed premise in response to complaint of two intoxicated patrons who were refusing to leave. Members attended and located both suspects, one of whom punched the other several times in view of members. A 30-year-old woman is now facing one count of assault and will make her first appearance on Oct. 16. A 34-year-old man was arrested and held in custody until sober and released without charges.
9:30 p.m. - Complaint of threats being made regarding a dispute between former roommates involving unpaid rent. Investigation ongoing.
10:37 p.m. - Call of a suspicious man on 92nd Street witnesses kicking and punching a van. Occupants and man appear to know each other. Man then ran off. Man and van both not located. No reports of damaged property made.
10:55 p.m. - Report of at least three youths jumping over fences and going into yards on Hamelin Street. No suspects located.
11:11 p.m. - Report of beer bottles thrown at a vehicle on Territorial Drive. No suspect(s) identified.
Sunday
1:15 a.m. - 45-year-old man arrested on 16th Avenue and charged with failing to comply with undertaking. Found intoxicated and having difficultly walking.
1:29 a.m. - 25-year-old man arrested for causing a disturbance, very intoxicated and passed out on 107th Street.
3:01 a.m. - Report of an intoxicated man smashing out glass to a door at a residence on the 1200 block of 99th Street. 29-year-old man was arrested near by and is now facing one count of mischief. He has since been released from custody and will make his first appearance in Provincial Court on Nov. 17.
5:45 a.m. - 18-year-old woman arrested for causing a disturbance, heard by members yelling and arguing with another person on St. Laurent Drive. Held in custody until sober.
8:49 a.m. - 28-year-old woman arrested for being intoxicated in public after failing to pay her cab fare.
9:24 a.m. - Woman, 38, reported missing. Last seen on Wednesday morning at a residence on 102nd Street. Update (10/15/16, 10:12 a.m.) Woman was located safe and sound Oct. 14.
3:28 p.m. - Hit and run to a vehicle, a black Dodge truck, while parked at Frontier Mall parking lot between 2 and 2:30 p.m.
6:50 p.m. - Report of two female suspects on Territorial Drive threw something at complainants vehicle damaging the passenger side of the vehicle.
7:30 p.m. - Damage to a vehicle window while parked on 18th Avenue some time over the previous night.
11:01 p.m. - A 2010 White Ford Ranger with Alberta License ZTJ 355 reported stolen from Panton Avenue some time between 9 to 11 p.m.
