The North Battleford RCMP detachment received approximately 22 calls for service between 6 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 18 and 6 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19.
Included in the calls were three Liquor Act complaints, one municipal bylaw complaint, one false alarm, one traffic investigation or complaint, one animal call and one item lost or found.
Thursday
9:07 a.m. - Complaint of theft of a motorcycle from a detached garage at an address on Thompson Crescent.
11:55 a.m. - Complaint of a cheque being cashed at a local gas bar that had been tampered with. Employee did not observe that the cheque had been altered previous to cashing same. This investigation is ongoing.
12:00 p.m. - Complaint of a lost purse on Railway Avenue. Complainant left her purse on top of her vehicle and drove away leaving the purse behind. When she returned, the purse was gone.
2:14 p.m. - Complaint of a dispute over a parking spot behind a bank in the city. The argument became quite heated. One woman left her vehicle and proceeded to yell and throw rocks at the other female and her vehicle. This investigation is ongoing.
3:04 p.m. - Complaint of two intoxicated men walking down 11th Avenue. Patrols were made. Results negative.
6:54 p.m. - Complaint of an intoxicated man outside an address on Railway Avenue threatening the people inside. Members attended no threats were made. The man was arrested for causing a disturbance and lodged until sober.
11:16 p.m. - Complaint from a licensed premise of an intoxicated man trying to start a bar fight. Members attended and the man was sleeping in the front lobby. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
11:20 p.m. - Complaint from a separate licensed premise of an intoxicated man causing problems in the bar. The man was making racial comments and belligerent with staff. The man was located outside the bar and arrested for being drunk in a public place.
Friday
12:36 a.m. - Loud party complaint at an address on 109th Street. Members attended and the home owner was warned.
3:23 a.m. - As a result of a traffic stop conducted by police, a woman was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle in the 11th Avenue. Investigation ongoing.
