A 23-year-old woman has died after being struck by a vehicle approximately two kilometres south of Leoville Sunday morning at about 1:40 a.m.
According to Spiritwood RCMP, the woman had been inside a separate vehicle that had stopped on Highway 24. She left the vehicle and entered the roadway where police say she was hit.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle that struck the woman was not physically injured and was released by police at the scene.
RCMP say the investigation is continuing and no charges have been laid.
