Woman struck while crossing 100th Street

A 44-year-old driver of a vehicle that struck a pedestrian as she attempted to cross at the intersection of 100th Street and 11th Avenue Wednesday at about 10:15 a.m. has been charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian.

A 44-year-old driver of a vehicle that struck a pedestrian as she attempted to cross at the intersection of 100th Street and 11th Avenue Wednesday at about 10:15 a.m. has been charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian.

Police say the 41-year-old pedestrian was struck by a vehicle turning north onto 100th Street from 11th Avenue as she was crossing 100th Street, going west.

The pedestrian was transported to hospital for precautionary reasons, as police say the collision occurred at slow speeds.
