Young offender guilty in skatepark stabbing

A 17-year-old accused of stabbing another youth in an incident at the skatepark during the evening of Sept. 3 has pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. The plea was entered in provincial court in North Battleford Thursday morning.

The plea was entered in provincial court in North Battleford Thursday morning. Two other charges including an assault charge will be withdrawn at sentencing.

Judge David Kaiser has remanded the youth to Oct. 14 for sentencing and has also ordered a pre-sentence report to be prepared for that time.
