Cases on Moosomin, Saulteaux, Mosquito reserves

The Saskatchewan Realtors Association has issued a news release announcing it was pausing open houses organized by realtors across the province until the new year.

WAKAW — A COVID-19 diagnosis has been made in an individual at Wakaw School. The Horizon School Division said they were made aware of the diagnosis on Nov. 18.

MELFORT — The Melfort Fire Department put out a structure fire which threatened a home in Park Bay Trailer Court. The department responded on Nov. 14 at 12:33 p.m. to a call from the trailer’s occupants, who were next door at their neighbour’s.

Saskatchewan, along with its neighbours, Manitoba and North Dakota, have been showing exponential growth in their 7-day average of daily new COVID-19 cases, for the period Oct. 1 to Nov. 14.

EAST CENTRAL — There’s no change at the top among the elected officials of the Horizon School Division. Foam Lake’s Jim Hack will continue to serve as the chair of the division's board of education, while Humboldt’s Linda Mattock remains vice-chair.

NIPAWIN — Due to COVID-19, the Nipawin council’s first meeting of the new term saw no family allowed in to watch the swearing-in ceremony of the mayor and six councillors.

The Battlefords Chamber of Commerce continues to deal with the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. After two months of holding meetings live at the Balych Mural Meeting Room, the board of directors were back to holding meetings on the ZOOM platform.

Each COVID-19 case in Saskatchewan is generating 3-4 additional cases
