The City of North Battleford says residents have been diligent in efforts to reduce the number of contaminants recycling bins, leading to some success.

On July 2, Moosomin RCMP along with EMS, and Moosomin Fire and Rescue responded to a single vehicle rollover on a narrow and uneven grid road located approximately five kms south and 18 kms west of Moosomin.

UPDATE: On July 2, at approximately 4 p.m., Warman RCMP received a missing persons complaint for 23-year old female, Samandeep Jhinger. Warman RCMP immediately began an investigation. Further information was received and on July 3, 2020, at 5:00 a.m.

The Chief Medical Health Officer’s public health order will be amended to expand visitation guidelines to facilities including acute and long-term care, personal care and group home settings starting July 7.

There is one new case of COVID-19 to report on July 3, bringing the provincial total to 796 cases. The new case is in the Far North. Of the 796 reported COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan, 71 are considered active. A total of 711 people have recovered.

The worst flooding since the 1970s has hit Highway 165 in the province’s north.

HUMBOLDT — A process to replace the Humboldt Fire Department’s oldest fire truck has begun. At its June 22 meeting, council voted in favour of drawing up the final specifications for a new fire truck and then sending it out for tender.

Two men are facing charges following an investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service VICE- Human Trafficking Unit. At approximately 8 p.m., June 29, patrol officers responded to a domestic complaint in the 200 block of Willis Crescent.
