TISDALE — Canadian Pacific Railway (CP) crews are actively cleaning up a derailment south of Tisdale off of Highway 35. A train with nine grain cars derailed at approximately 3:30 p.m on June 23, with cleanup efforts continuing into June 24.

HUMBOLDT — While there’s a flurry of activity to prepare the Humboldt and District Museum and Gallery for reopening, they won’t be ready to open the first day they are legally able.

North Battleford city council has approved a resolution authorizing a realignment of the 15th Avenue path crossing Territorial Drive. This is in connection to the Red Pheasant development at Territorial Drive and 15th Avenue.

When voters in the town of Battleford vote in the municipal election on Nov. 9, the candidates will not be listed alphabetically. At a meeting of members Monday, town council voted in favour of putting candidates’ names on the ballot in random order.
