HUMBOLDT — Although there is currently no acute need for a homeless shelter in Humboldt, a local family support organization suggests a discussion about an increase in transient individuals arriving in the city should be taking place.

Just because the road’s closed doesn’t mean businesses are.

HUMBOLDT — A grocery chain with a store in Humboldt said it will remove plastic grocery bags from all of its stores. The bags will be removed by Sobeys’ 255 locations by the end of January 2020.
