GUERNSEY — Humboldt-Lanigan RCMP are looking into two cases of vandalism in Guernsey. Police learned of the first one on April 8. A mirror was torn off the driver’s side of a black Ford truck parked in a resident’s property.

LANIGAN — Two trailers were stolen from a business in Lanigan. The thefts are believed by Humboldt-Lanigan RCMP to have taken place between April 7 and April 8.

HUMBOLDT — The Humboldt RCMP are trying to track down two dangerous and reckless ATV drivers that drove through the city in the night. The two men drove the ATVs between the hours of 11 pm and around 1:30 am April 19 and 20.

HUMBOLDT — A white 2007 Ford F-350 crew cab truck and a 2004 tandem axle Rainbow tilt deck trailer were stolen from a facility in Humboldt. Humboldt RCMP believe the theft took place between April 16 and April 18.

LANIGAN — A merger of the two Lanigan schools into a single school has been added to the Horizon School Division’s wish list.

Here are some items from Monday night’s North Battleford city council meeting. The City of North Battleford and the Town of Battleford are planning to revive the Battlefords River Valley Committee.

TISDALE — The Town of Tisdale has taken $1.2 million in loans for the sewer infrastructure renewal project. The project includes a new sewer lift station, new lagoon and a new pipe out to the lagoon.

Summer curling is returning to Northland Power Curling Centre and the city is moving ahead to purchase a new condenser for the facility.

HUMBOLDT — A major retrofit to a sewage lift station will cost more than budgeted. The winning bid for the work on lift station #3 was made by Hipperson Construction. The cost to the city will be $1.2 million.

MELFORT — After years of renovations, a part of Melfort’s historic post office is available for commercial use.
