The Bruno Post Office was broken into and letters and packages were stolen. Humboldt-Lanigan RCMP said the crime happened in the overnight hours between Dec. 7 and 8.

North Battleford city council has upcoming decisions regarding the historic CN building. The building was discussed at a city council budget deliberation meeting last Thursday.

ARMLEY — A review of the intersection where the Humboldt Broncos collision took place recommends rumble strips, wider shoulders and removal of sight-blocking trees, among other improvements.

Nominations are open for the Humboldt and District Chamber of Commerce’s Mark of Excellence awards. Ten awards will be presented at the 20th anniversary of the event, held March 20 and hosted by the chamber.

The culvert replacement at Battleford Road ended up costing the City of North Battleford much more than expected. Work was approved in August to replace the rapidly-failing culverts underneath Battleford Road at the railway tracks.
